Our New Office Complex

Thanks to the generosity of the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport Authority, plus a generous grant from the Wood County Commission to get us started, WCEC will soon begin remodeling our new office complex at the Airport. Follow our progress here.

The office complex into which we will be moving consists of five rooms attached to the street side of the hangar in the picture (above, left), previously (well, presently actually) occupied by the FAA as the old Flight Services station. The rooms have only been used for equipment storage for the past eight years or so, and are in need of a lot of TLC as you can see from these pictures.

We Need Your Help!

Making our new home habitable is going to be a rather expensive project. Wood County Emergency Communications is a non-profit all-volunteer organization supported entirely by public and private donations! Your donations to WCEC help support the safety and security of your community, and are fully tax-deductible under the provisions of Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). If you believe that our mission is important to the citizens of Wood County, please make a tax-deductible contribution payable to Wood County Emergency Communications and send it to 319 Communications Drive, Waverly WV 26184. For more information, contact WCEC Director Kenny Harris at WA8LLM@yahoo.com or call (304) 481-0611. You can also make a secure online donation through PayPal by clicking on the "Donate" button below. Be sure to visit our website at WC8EC.com. Thank you!
